People sometimes mistake an anxiety attack for something else, like a heart attack (the symptoms are similar: pounding heart, shortness of breath, shakiness, numbness, sweating). 5. You’re lonely. Being alone is not necessarily a problem…unless you’re feeling hopeless or like no one cares about you, or you have trouble sustaining meaningful relationships.
